Happy New Year! Glad to have you on the blog today – I’m grateful you are here! It has been really cold here in Minnesota and I have been finding myself wearing a wide range of boots with our weather ever changing. From sub zero weather, to snow days and even ones that are mild, I have been reaching for boots that can handle it all. One brand I turn to for our long cold winters is Sorel. They offer a really nice selection of boots for all different types of winter days and I LIVE in mine all season long. I wanted to show you the boots I wear daily from running errands, to hanging with friends and even date night!
Don’t forget to tell me in the comments which pair you are loving or your favorite style of Sorel boots – I would love to know!
1. Joan of Arctic Wedge II Chelsea Bootie
This is such a GREAT boot and likely the most versatile of the three. This was my first pair of Sorel’s I purchased years ago and they do not disappoint. I wear these boots with everything from running errands to hanging with friends and even out on date night with a dress or leggings and a long sweater. My favorite thing about these boots is the style and waterproof leather. You get a protective boot but one that also elevates your outfit. I highly recommend this pair for your wardrobe.

2. Tivoli IV Boot
I bought this pair last year as I was looking for more of a traditional short snow boot. This boot is extremely warm with 100g insulation. I really like this pair for running errands on cold snowy days and throwing on when I’m getting Cameron on the bus each morning. In addition, these are very practical but also are a cross between sporty and dressy. I love that combo! With Sorel, I always size up. For reference, I’m normally a 6.5 and I size up to a 7.
3. Cate Chelsea Bootie
I recently ordered these around Christmas and I have found myself reaching for them a lot. One trend that is really hot at the moment is the lug boot trend. While it’s fun – it’s not for everyone. The Cate Chelsea bootie captures the lug style in a more minimal way, which I prefer. The sole is not super thick or too bulky making this a great go-to classic style that I know I won’t get sick of in a few years. I also appreciate the block heel, short ankle height and round toe. These boots can be dressed up or dressed down and ones you can definitely wear into the spring.
Head on over to Sorel and find yourself a pair you love. I have a few other Sorel boots worth mentioning but wanted to give you my top three picks for the season. If you would like to see more styles let me know in the comments!
