With summer in full swing, I thought I would share some of my favorite sunglasses. I love a good accessory and anyone who knows me well can attest to that! I’m a sucker for new shades, bags and shoes. However, as I get older, I find myself savoring in the classics and I wanted to show you the sunglasses I reach for daily when it comes to fitness, fashion and function.

Most Worn – Maui Jim Aviator Mavericks

I love a great classic aviator. These are by far my most worn pair of sunglasses I have ever owned for a good reason. To me, the metal frame and gradient lenses are simple, chic and look great with almost any outfit because it doesn’t take away from what you are wearing. These are extremely light weight and fit my face without being so large. I also appreciate these don’t push down on my ears and provide a VERY comfortable fit. You get what you pay for with these, and they don’t disappoint! Great brand.

Best for Fitness – ROKA Hunter

I received these as a gift for Christmas last year and they are my absolute new favorite brand. If you haven’t heard about ROKA, I highly recommend reading more about the brand here. While this brand keeps the athlete in mind, you will also find a great selection to meet your everyday needs. What I think is unique, is their fashion forward frames (in many styles) for everyday wear coupled with high quality and functionality for runners, cyclists and athletes alike! There is nothing cooler than being able to wear a chic aviator made for running! They also partner with one of the best fitness apps – Strava.

New Style Favorite – Ray-Ban (RB4305)

Everyone knows Ray-Ban for a good reason, they make a great pair of sunglasses. I saw this pair of sunglasses on my mother-in-law and immediately knew I had to have them. What I love is the round retro shape and the light caramel color. I have been seeing a lot of lighter frames and I knew I would not get sick of these because it’s a fun color while being classic and a little trendy.

If you are looking for something beautiful, inspiring and fashion forward this is your brand. I purchased the pair pictured above while on vacation in Italy eight years ago. For me, classic was top of mind and I wanted it to be a pair I would appreciate for many years. Unfortunately, this style is no longer available, but you can find a similar look here. The mother of pearl detail and oversized round shape was exactly what I was looking for. I pull these out for special occasions and I still love them just as much now as I did then.
