I recently made a stop to my local Evereve store and found so many fun things! New denim was on my mind and I wanted to take you along with me. Evereve is a great place to shop for denim when you are on the hunt for new styles, fits and colors. What they get right, is the way they curate and bring together the best brands that are classic but also current. Overly trendy styles are not my thing, and if I’m investing in a good pair of denim, I prefer to stick to something I know I won’t get tired of. If I’m looking to branch out, I will grab something in a new wash or color but keep the fabrication classic. Come shop with me!

Agolde Parker Shorts, Sandals
A pair of denim shorts I purchased a few years back are the Agolde Parker shorts. These are a bit on the trendy side, but the reason I love them, is the fit. They don’t hug the upper thigh and they are contoured to fit the waist nicely with a high rise. I find a lot of shorts ride up or are too tight and these don’t do any of that!

Top, Good American-Good Legs Crop
White denim is a MUST in your wardrobe. If you don’t own a pair, I highly recommend giving them a try. A lot of people think white is only for the spring or summer, but I find white to be a great option going into the fall paired with a suede bootie. These white jeans are the Good American, Good Legs Crop. This pair is classic and high waisted with just the right amount of stretch. I prefer white jeans with no distressing or holes to preserve the longevity so I can wear them in different ways. This style is also great for the office paired with your favorite blazer, blouse and heels.

Top, Good American-Good Legs Cig
I love Good American denim. You can obviously tell this is one of my favorite brands. This pair is the Good American, Good Legs Cig. What I love about this style is the washed out black/gray vintage color and of course the high waist. I would describe the fit to be a slim straight leg, which I happen to love as I’m 5’3 and not tall! The color is SO fun and a great option for transitioning into the fall.

Top, Citizens of Humanity-Elsa Crop Straight
These are Citizens of Humanity, Elsa Crop Straight mid-rise jean. Citizens makes high quality denim. They know what they are doing and these don’t disappoint. For anyone who doesn’t prefer a high rise, the mid-rise is a refreshing alternative. I happen to really like the straight leg style on these because they are not baggy in the knee area and still look really streamlined. These do not have a ton of stretch, so if you are in between sizes I would recommend going up a size.
While this last look is not denim, it was too good not to share. The top is by Cloth and Stone and a really good take on a traditional white blouse. It’s really soft, light weight and just a tad flowy but still structured. The leggings are by Spanx. They feel soft and stretchy and have the look of leather. Pair these with a blouse, a tee or cropped sweater and you are good to go!
I’m all about keeping things easy, simple and classic. Let me know which look you like best in the comments and what denim brands are your favorites – I would love to know!
