I can’t believe the holiday season is officially here! It’s that magical time of the year where our house is transformed with festive décor.

We spent last weekend getting our home holiday ready with garland swags around the outdoor porch and putting up our tree.

All of the decorating, got me thinking about our up-coming get togethers and festivities this month. If your calendar is looking busy like ours and you are wondering what to wear, I wanted to share a holiday dress trend I’m loving.

I’ve been seeing silk/satin dresses everywhere this season in every length and style. There really is something for everyone whether you looking for mini, midi or a full length option.

And, because my love of satin dresses is real – I wanted to show you another one I picked up. It’s from Astr The Label called the Marin Dolman Sleeve Midi Dress and I’m wearing the color sage. This one is SO gorgeous – it’s perfect for the holidays, a work party or a special night out. I’m planning on wearing this with a cropped emerald green faux fur jacket!

I love the midi length and paired with a festive pump, you can’t go wrong for the holidays. I recently picked up a new pair from Sam Edelman; their iconic Hazel Pump in light gold mesh. They are sparkly and add that special touch to make the dress shine.
