Spring Blouse Picks From LOFT

February 7, 2022

Hi friends! Glad to see you here on the blog today. It’s still super cold here in Minnesota and with Spring around the corner, it has me dreaming of warmer days. We have been hunkered down enjoying the peace and quiet at the farm and also starting to get excited for our Florida trip in late March! Stay tuned for a packing post coming your way soon. With spring approaching, I wanted to share a few new blouses I picked up from one of my favorite stores – LOFT! When I’m looking to add to my wardrobe, I’m looking for three things: classic styling, a pop of color or something fun (but not too crazy), and longevity. The LOFT checks all these boxes!

With that, I want to show you three different outfits. These are highly versatile looks that can be worn to the office (or work from home), a night out or even just to step up your wardrobe game! I saw these three blouses on LOFT’s website and knew they would work great for many different outings. Let’s do this – come shop with me! Don’t forget to let me know in the comments which one is your favorite.

1. Clipped Smocked Ruffle Blouse

Remember when I said, pop of color? This blouse is just that! When I saw it, I knew it would work well for the office in both spring and summer but also with jeans for a casual look and even a dressy night out. This find was a nice surprise. I don’t always jump for something bright, but when paired the right way, keeping the blouse the focus – it’s an outfit maker. I have it paired below with my favorite coated black jeans and a black suede block heel. This would make a great night out look, especially with Valentine’s Day around the corner!

(For reference, I’m wearing an XS and I think it fits true to size. I LOVE the cotton fabric – no stretch with this blouse, so keep that in mind)

2. Dobby Lace Trim Ruffle Blouse

I LOVE this blouse with the high neck and and subtle stripe and lace details. This is a great example of a blouse that has classic styling with that little something extra. It’s not boring and would be a good choice for the office, evening out or worn casually with jeans and flats. I have it paired below as a dressy office look with dark denim jeans and my favorite burgundy suede heels. This outfit would also be a nice look for Valentine’s Day as well. Because the blouse is neutral in color, pair it with a fun colored heel or bootie!

(For reference, I’m wearing an XS and I think it fits true to size. The fabric on this one is also full cotton so no stretch)

3. Clipped Shirred Ruffle Neck Blouse

This blouse is gorgeous! I was recently on a trip and took this with me and it was very comfortable, simple and sexy! I’m a big believer you don’t need to show “it all!” HA! The balloons sleeves were ultra feminine and I enjoyed the flowy fabric. It looks great tucked in to your favorite pants or you could easily pair it with a nice legging too. I have it below with my favorite light denim jeans and a fun black bootie. The lighter denim gives it a more relaxed look while still being put together. This blouse could easily be paired with a flat, a casual bootie or open toe heel. You can never go wrong with a black blouse and I know I’ll be wearing this on repeat!

(For reference, I’m wearing an XS and I think it fits true to size)

Head over to the LOFT and go grab your favorite blouse – they have some good sales going on currently! Let me know in the comments if you liked the post or which look was your favorite.

Thanks for stopping by!
